I don't know nearly enough about what the other factions have going for them to be able to "fake" anything, so I mostly just told SpectralSpork that I would think about his offer and let him know. He said this.
SpectralSpork: I shall be using my power on Burnage tonight, I hope he is not a comrade of yours?

He said this. SpectralSpork: I shall be using my power on Burnage tonight, I hope he is not a comrade of yours? Ask him what kind of power he has, if he's willing to share. If it's a one time use it's probably better for a neutral to hold onto it rather than waste it. Optionally, also tell him that Burnage is a fine choice. Gumpy seems like a much better choice especially given how well he can network and remove those unaligned with himself.

Who should I use my power on today?

Who should I use my power on today? A kill? Use it on... anyone you find suspicious except for DasUberEdward or the vote leaders. Doxa was talking in code earlier, jackisreal put in the second Kid vote, or DevoutlyApathetic, visiblehowl, or MrBlarney for veterans. Also, the Kay vote to break the tie was not a good idea, it puts you in the spotlight. But don't change it right away, look for an opportunity to shift it elsewhere, especially when confronted.

If I get killed tonight, my thrall power will be rendered useless even if I'm resurrected. So if Spork's a vig, damn.

Ties are stupid for the village. They allow anyone with vote-changing power (very likely baddies) to manipulate the vote-count and use the village kill for themselves. Breaking ties is not a good reason for the village to come after someone.

If he's sticking with it... one option is for Kid to offer him a spot on the team by his swearing allegiance. But worked in there so it doesn't appear that this offer is because your head is on the table.

My conversation with SpectralSpork ended because I had to go eat dinner, but without knowing if he's actually Neutral I can't see how it could possibly be worth the risk of trying to take him up on his offer. I eventually got him to acknowledge that his intention was to "work together with your side, and swear allegiance at a later date in case something bad happens" or something like that. It's both an obvious good move for him, and fishy at the same time.
I really shouldn't have talked to him at all, on the off chance that I somehow gave something away. I approached the conversation exactly how I would if I was a vanilla villager though, so hopefully I'm okay there.
As for his power, he had this to say: SpectralSpork: as for mine, well it changes nightly. SpectralSpork: My awesome tonight may not be the awesome I have tomorrow.
If he's really going for Burnage and he's got a kill tonight, that's some damn good luck to both contact a baddy, and randomly kill one on the same day... :\

Also, the "bandwagon" on me is obviously a farce, as the leading vote was me doing some shtick. Anyway, I can change my vote off myself and effectively push any of the ties 2 ahead of me if I need to. Will watch the end of voting time closely. 11:00 Eastern, right?

Also, it seems pretty wild to me that neutrals would have additional powers beyond being a neutral. Being a neutral probably gives you the best chance of winning of any role in this game, provided you play it right. Just surviving to the end of the game basically ensures your victory, as you can join the faction that looks certain to win on the 2nd to last day if you have good information.

Hold on. Neutral, changes powers? Sounds like Spork might be the Demi-fiend.
This means that if we don't want to convert him, we should kill him. Quickly.

Mat you want to do the honors with your kill? Or should you kill DasUber and we'll use the faction kill on Spork?
Let me know what you send in.
